| You can discuss "Community Building on the Web" by joining
Brainstorms
-- Howard Rheingold's private webconferencing community -- where I currently
host several topics about my book. To participate, Email
Howard Rheingoldand tell him that you're interested in discussing
Comunity Building on the Web. Howard will then send you instructions for
how to join.
Once you've signed up, go to the LIFE ONLINE conference,
and look for topics that start with "Community Building on the Web"
-- that's where we're discussing the book. I encourage you to read through
other topics in Life Online as well - there's a gold-mine of ideas there.
Brainstorms is frequented by a number of savvy,
experienced community-builders, and offers a wide range of discussion topics
-- both academic and practical. Please note, however, that this is
not a place where you can "strip-mine" the expertise of others without
contributing your own ideas and experiences. It's built to be a two-way
street -- a place where we're all learning from each other. Please keep
this in mind as you're participating in the discussions.
I look forward to seeing you online!
