5-10: "Just in Time" moderation at Slashdot
| Slashdot members can choose their own "comment threshold"
by setting a default in their preferences, and also by chaning their
threshold on-the-fly while reading stories. Here, I've chosen the highest
threshold, 5 - and thus I'm only shown 3 comments (as shown in the pulldown
menu above). If I select a lower threshold, I'll see more comments. These
ratings were generated by "just-in-time" moderators who were semi-randomly
selected by the system, and given the power to rate 5 comments.
